The Mountain Goats at Central Square
Matt: Today is the best day of my life.
Me: DID THEY REPLY!?
Matt: THEY SAID YES!
Me: What are we gonna wear!?
Sunday, January 22 AAAAHHH.
I like you, 2012.
2012 sure is busy.
What with fire pits and sparklers (and sparkler torches) and the elusive bioluminescence and best friends and pelicans and confetti and more confetti and book making- looks like this year is going to be wondrous.
Two things:
1. I made another tumblr, ‘cause is one really enough? Find it here.
2. I made this book last night.
Currently making my first hardcover book...
Happy 2012!
So much better than resolutions:

Here’s hoping for more than a few!

May God bless and keep you always.
May your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others, and let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars, and climb on every rung.
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous.

May you always be courageous.

Things that make me happy: today
Cloudy all day
Bruno’s for lunch
Rearranging books all day and discovering long lost gems at Sundog
The fact that I get to spend whole days at Sundog
Cinnamon Apple Pecan muffins
Cold wind off the gulf
Virtual coffee sharing from Florida to Colorado
And instant conversations over 4000 miles and a big ocean
I’m lounging in leggings and a sweater and a giant dog as I type this.

What time is it?
Here’s the deal:
I’m just going to have to go ahead and wish you a happy birthday!
Honestly, I mean….you’re in Arizona, and I hope it looks like this-
although, in my mind, it just looks like this-
And, the great state of AZ is the worst place to be on your birthday because, really, what is the deal with the time there!? I mean… NO daylight savings? What...

Sometimes I prefer movement.
Today at Grayton.
makr photo love.
I look at a lot of pictures in a day.
Every now and then, I’ll come across a little collection that requires and second or third look, and results in the dragging of images over into my little “inspiration” folder.
What will come of that folder, who knows, but I do know that I experienced that flutter of photo love via -this blog post- from Makr.
True love.
I love you, Makr.

“Always,” said Snape.
tulipano: perfection
Feeling a bit nostalgic (am I in a constant state of nostalgia?), so I pulled some old pictures from the tulip festival in Castiglione Del Lago. Figured I’d share.
I think I should probably start a tulip festival here, right?
Tonight, I’ll dream of tulips and marching bands and clear blue water.
And friends.

Wild Geese
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese,
harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
