As far as saints go,
There’s this one you won’t know,

On this day each year,
We celebrate with great cheer,
The life of this great and triumphant.

Though it’s really quite rare,
If his birthday you share,

- of dying my paper blue or red or both

- of all the things i love about spring or summer or fall or winter or weather
- of all the places i stopped on the way to colorado
- of the art i’ve seen
- towns i loved and hated in italy
- funny words in french and italian (gufo! squisito!)
- books to read again because the timing wasn’t right

I just came across this flickr and felt a certain tinge of…I don’t even know the feeling. Kindred-ness. It looks like these pages came straight out of one of my many random, half-filled notebooks and post-its and whatever else I have in my pocket or bag or glove compartment.
